Frequently Asked Questions

I had an on-screen message telling me I needed to leave my set-top box in standby, why is this?

Teletext Extra is periodically updated whilst your set-top box is in standby. This means that whenever you press the Guide button all the latest TV listings and other information will be instantly available. If you turn off the power supply to your set-top box, you may have to wait a while to access Teletext Extra. An onscreen message will inform you of this and the box will reset to standby to allow the updates to take place. Leaving the box on standby allows this to happen automatically.
